1885 Map of Cemetery

 

In June 1885, George McKitterick, Surveyor of the Shirley Estate, completed a survey of the Cemetery for the Very Rev. Dean Peter Bermingham, Parish Priest of Magheross. 

The survey allocated an individual number to each plot.

The original 1885 map is stored in the Sacristy of St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross.
